Two market analysts recently concluded that the Bitcoin bottom is in, signaling that the current bear market conditions have faded. Charles Edwards of Capriole Investments and the analyst known as Root reached this conclusion using different data points. Neither analyst claims a massive bull run is guaranteed, but both argue that the worst of the downward pressure has likely passed.

Edwards based his outlook on the Market Hedge Ratio, which tracks stablecoin liquidity. When this ratio drops, it shows capital moving from stablecoins into Bitcoin. His signal reached a key threshold on September 4. While this indicator typically suggests a few weeks of upside, Edwards noted that it serves as a short term signal rather than a long term price prediction.

Root took a different approach by looking at historical price structures. He tracks when Bitcoin reclaims key moving averages and cost basis levels. According to his analysis, Bitcoin recently broke out about two months ahead of the expected cycle schedule. While this deviation keeps some uncertainty alive, he considers the timing to be a significant positive indicator for the current cycle.

Bitcoin currently trades just above $79,355, which is the critical 21 week moving average. If the price holds above this level, both analysts maintain that their bullish thesis remains intact. However, a weekly close below the support shelf near $70,000 would invalidate these predictions. Traders should watch these key price levels closely in the coming days.
