Arbitrum Watchdog Threatens Bans for Three DeFi Projects

The Arbitrum Watchdog Committee has issued a warning to three DeFi projects over alleged grant misuse. Good Entry, Limitless, and APX Finance now have until September 10 to provide explanations or return funds. If these projects fail to satisfy the committee, they could face votes to ban them from participating in any future Arbitrum DAO incentive programs.

The committee identified specific issues for each protocol involving a total of over 457,000 ARB. Good Entry allegedly distributed tokens to ineligible users and engaged in self farming. Limitless faces accusations of moving grant funds to another network without authorization. APX Finance is under scrutiny for unutilized treasury funds and suspicious activity linked to team members.

These potential bans would serve as governance sanctions rather than technical freezes. If the community votes to exclude these projects, the founders and their associated teams would be barred from receiving further DAO support. The committee plans to hold separate votes for each project if the current impasse continues past the deadline.
