Arbitrum is considering a new Constitutional AIP that would create a paid and authenticated data streaming product known as Fast Feed. Under the current terms, 97 percent of all subscription revenue would go straight to the Arbitrum DAO treasury. The remaining 3 percent would support the Arbitrum Developer Guild.

The proposed feed is designed for users who need faster access to Arbitrum One data, such as infrastructure providers and advanced market participants. Creators of the proposal stress that the feed is ordering neutral, meaning subscribers cannot use it to reorder transactions or gain direct frontrunning rights. This safeguard aims to prevent unfair trading advantages while still monetizing network infrastructure.

As Layer 2 networks mature, finding reliable revenue streams beyond basic transaction fees has become a major focus for developers and tokenholders. If delegates approve the plan and enough users pay for the service, Fast Feed could serve as a model for how decentralized networks fund their operations. Watch the governance forum to see how delegates respond to the debate.
