Apex Fusion Launches Vector for AI Agent Accountability

The Apex Fusion Foundation has officially opened Vector, its dedicated settlement and accountability layer for AI agents. After eleven months of mainnet operation and a successful pilot program involving over 20,000 processed work packages, the platform is now available to companies, researchers, and independent builders. Vector aims to solve the problem of trust when AI agents from different organizations interact and conduct business with one another.

Built on the Cardano protocol stack, Vector uses the eUTXO model to provide deterministic outcomes and low fees. The system allows AI agents to establish on chain identities, utilize bonded escrow services, and handle dispute resolutions via a staked jury process. This structure is intended to ensure that when agents perform tasks, there is a verifiable record of exactly what work was done and how payment was settled.

During a pilot program with OriginTrail, the system successfully managed the reconstruction of a massive historical archive. Agents handled the entire lifecycle of the project, ensuring every fact was linked to a specific model and contractual term. The platform is designed to be accessible through standard connections, allowing agents built on common frameworks to integrate without needing custom software stacks.

As the use of AI agents in business grows, the focus is shifting toward how these systems can be held accountable when they operate outside of their original organization. Vector positions itself as a neutral ground for these transactions.
